Wild Magic is a game jam project from the 2021 GMTK Game Jam

​

• The theme of the jam was "Joined Together"

• Beepo & Pogo is a top down puzzle game featuring two separately controllable characters

• One to two players control the characters Beepo and Pogo both characters are a little robot that functions as a magnet

• Each character can move around on a grid as well as repel or attract the other character depending on their orientation

• Players must navigate a series of 5 levels each with varied puzzles and mechanics to challenge them

• This was a team project of 8 very talented individuals including myself, I was the lead game designer and programmer

• Creating the grid  and puzzle system to use for creating the maps and puzzles was a particularly valuable challenge to learn from

• One of my favorite projects I've worked on, and one of the most complete and enjoyable games I've created during a game jam
